Your Experience Awaits.
A quiet moment with a horse can be a powerful yet gentle doorway to clarity and self-understanding.
These sessions are gentle, grounded, and fully guided experiences designed for people with no prior horse experience. There is no riding involved. You are simply invited into quiet, attentive presence with one or more horses in a safe, supportive environment. Your guide, Martha, is an experienced, certified equine assisted facilitator and will be present throughout your session. She is always attuned to what's unfolding, guiding the process, ensuring that the experience remains compassionate, steady, and constructive, without forcing or directing outcomes. The pace is slow by design, allowing insight to emerge naturally rather than being pushed. Participants feel seen and witnessed without analysis, pressure or expectation. The environment is supportive, intuitive, and secure, creating conditions where clarity and genuine transformation can occur.
Offering Private and Group Sessions

Martha is a Licensed Equine Assisted Facilitator through Touched by a Horse®, a Certified Mentor for HeartMath®, and a Certified Equine Partnered Facilitator through Awakening With Equines with Kate Neligan. Touched by a Horse® is a respected and comprehensive equine-assisted coaching program developed by Melisa Pearce. Practitioners trained in this method learn how to partner with horses to support personal insight, emotional growth, and self awareness. In this approach, horses are not simply present — they are active partners in the coaching process. Their natural ability to read energy and respond to emotion while remaining grounded helps people connect more honestly with themselves. Sessions may involve mindful interaction, guided exercises, reflective observation, or gentle hands-on experiences with the horse. Touched by a Horse® is known for its strong foundation in Gestalt principles — a method that helps clients become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and patterns of the present moment. Combined with the horse's authentic responses, this creates a powerful, supportive environment for clarity, release, and personal transformation. HeartMath® is a research-backed system that helps people regulate their stress response by creating "coherence" between the heart, brain, and nervous system. Through simple breathing and focus techniques, clients learn how to shift physiologically out of stress and overwhelm into a calmer, more balanced state. Decades of HeartMath® Institute studies show improvements in emotional regulation, clarity, resilience, and overall well being when this state is achieved. Horses respond instinctively to this change in physiology providing immediate honest feedback that helps clients recognize when they are grounded versus when they are overwhelmed. HeartMath® becomes a quiet anchor in equine-assisted work — supporting calm focus, and emotional regulation — so clients can access deeper insight and genuine personal transformation.

The Horses Meet You Where You Are.
Horses are extraordinarily sensitive to human emotional and energetic states. In this setting they are calm, non-judgmental mirrors often reflecting where tension, blocks, or internal conflicts may be present. Just as importantly, they can also offer subtle cues about how movement, softening, or forward motion might be possible — not through words, but through presence and response. The horses involved are willing, gentle, and deeply grounded partners in this work. They are not asked to perform; they simply show up as they are. Their steadiness often makes it easier for people to feel safe enough to notice what's happening within themselves. You don't need to "know what to do" and you don't need to have a specific problem prepared. The horses meet you exactly where you are and the experience unfolds from there.

Martha Becker
Martha Becker brings a rare blend of calm clarity, and deep compassion to her work with clients and horses. Known for her gentle presence and intuitive understanding of emotional space, she creates an environment where people feel relaxed, welcomed, and safe to explore whatever arises. Her approach is grounded, thoughtful, and always guided by the client's readiness — never pushing, always partnering.

A lifelong seeker of authentic connection with horses, Martha has spent years studying subtle communication and relational horsemanship. Groundwork is her true love — this quiet space where mutual trust, curiosity, and partnership naturally unfold. This foundation shapes the way she supports clients: with openness, humor, and a steady belief that transformation happens best when we feel at ease.

Martha is a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner, Weekend Clinic Instructor, and Coach; a Licensed Equine-Assisted Facilitator through Touched by a Horse®; a HeartMath® Certified Mentor; and a Certified Equine Partnered Facilitator through Awakening With Equines with Kate Neligan.
Clients often describe their time with Martha as grounding and restorative — a space where they can breathe, listen inwardly and reconnect with parts of themselves they may have forgotten. Whether through quiet HeartMath® practices, gentle equine-assisted experiences, or playful group activities, Martha brings authenticity, integrity, and a deep respect for the emotional journeys of others.

Above all, she believes this work is for anyone — that the combination of horses, presence, and compassionate guidance can offer profound support for people at every stage of life.
